Spring Festival - Cai Shen and the BEST TIME to Receive the Chinese God of Prosperity this Water Dragon Year

Every year just before Chinese New Year, Chinese will find out the auspicious time to pray and welcome the God of Prosperity or God of Wealth to usher in the New Lunar Year. Watch this space for Tips and the Auspicious Time to receive The God of Prosperity this Water Dragon Year.
Niángāo, Year cake or Chinese New Year's cake – Why is it a MUST for Chinese New Year?
Niángāo is made from glutinous rice and is very popular during Chinese New Year even though it is available all year round. Chinese eat Niángāo during this time because "nian gao" is a homonym for "higher year." The Chinese word (nián粘), meaning "sticky", is identical in sound to Nian (年), meaning "year", and the word (gāo), meaning "cake" is identical in sound to (Gao 高), meaning "high". Therefore, the eating of Niángāo symbolizes the raising of oneself in each coming year (年年高升 niánnián gāoshēng).
Niángāo is also offered to the Kitchen God so that his mouth will be stuck with the sticky cake so that he cannot badmouth the family to the God of all Gods (Yu Huang Da Di). So, eat plenty of Niángāo this Water Dragon Year. Gong Xi Fa Cai
Happy 2012, Year of the Water Dragon from kuantan4u.com
According to Chinese Astronomy, 2012 is Year of the Dragon and a Water Dragon which begins on the 23rd of January 2012 and ends on the 9 February 2013. Chinese Zodiac or Astronomy is based on the interaction of the twelve Chinese Zodiac animals and the 5 elements of metal, water, wood, fire and Earth on driving one’s destiny in Chinese culture and heritage for thousands of years.
Water brings calmness to the Dragon’s fearless temperament resulting in smarter decisions and better understanding of others. Overall Dragon is a symbol of good fortune and intense power. Dragons are free spirited and uninhibited; colourful and flamboyant; full of energy, gifted and utterly irrepressible. Dragons do everything on a grand scale with big ideas, ornate gestures and extreme ambitions.
We at www.kuantan4u.com believe we are entering a new and exciting era that promotes a better understanding among ourselves and the environment we lived in. The people of Kuantan expect good governance where there are consultation and collective decision making to make Kuantan one of the better towns in Malaysia to live and work; to play and relax; and to grow and prosper.
