Landmarks - Teluk Chempedak, Kuantan Top Attraction and Destination

Quarter of an hour drive from Town centre will take you to this beautiful white sandy beach tarnished by McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King and others. Beware of drivers hungry and craving for Drive Thru’ fast food as it really spoiled this beautiful beach facing the South China Sea. The litter bugs must be fined and given community service to clean up the beach.
On the positive side, Teluk Chempedak or Jackfruit Bay is still a top attraction and destination for Kuantanites and tourists. The beach is still very attractive if you can set
your mind to ignore all the modern day developments and the big screen TV. It is very crowded on weekends, school holidays, public holidays and festive seasons.
During Mooncake or Mid Autumn festivals, thousands will flock to Teluk Chempedak and strolled along the white sandy beach in the evening. Some will have to parked faraway and walk up the hill to get to the beach.
Teluk Chempedak is also popular for those learning to surf. Early evenings during the weekends when there is a pretty good wave, you will see youngsters with surfboards trying to stay on their boards and ride out the waves.
Please keep our BEACH CLEAN!
